I was born with Sickle Cell Disease that’s SS. I say the way it affected my life was when I was young. At first when I was 7 years old, I suffered a stroke at the age of 7. I woke up one morning to get ready for school and I was unable to get out of bed to wash up or get dressed.
When I tried to climb out of bed I fell and my father had to come in and pick me up and they rushed me out to the hospital. That’s when they said I suffered a stroke. I was in the hospital for I want to say about 3 months.
